Meet Daniel

I began my career in hospitality management, graduating in 2013 and working on cruise ships around the world. In that fast-paced, multicultural environment, I developed strong teamwork, communication, and efficiency skills while learning to thrive in diverse settings.

In 2020, I transitioned into ESL teaching, where I especially enjoyed working with motivated adult learners. Teaching online during the pandemic sparked my interest in digital learning design. I loved creating slides and experimenting with ed-tech tools to make lessons engaging and interactive. This passion led me to pursue a Master’s in Education to deepen my understanding of how people learn.

During my graduate studies, I explored emerging technologies like AI and discovered the field of instructional design. It was the perfect fit: a way to combine my people-focused background in hospitality, my teaching experience, and my enthusiasm for innovative learning solutions. Today, I design learning that is engaging, efficient, and impactful.

My approach is guided by three principles: curiosity, innovation, and efficiency. I design with purpose by streamlining workflows, applying modern tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Suite, Figma, and generative AI, and ensuring every solution transforms knowledge into action. For me, success means learning isn’t just consumed; it’s applied in real life.
